about

Following two EPs of collaborations, "I Hate New York" stands as Brendan Boogie's first solo record, an introspective affair recorded completely in just two days at the Allston studio of CBS records artist Will Dailey. With a much more stripped down style than Boogie's more boisterous past work with the Best Intentions, "I Hate New York" asserts itself as a raw and intimate meditation on distance and loss.
